We have vast experience as both organiser and host of world class regattas. Olympic rowing has been practised in the city of Sevilla, Spain for over 100 years! Sevilla has been the setting for the Spanish National Olympic Rowing Championships since 1990. We have celebrated the FISA Master Regatta (1999), the World Rowing Championship (2002), the World Cup (2001), 15 editions of the FISA Team Cup (1995-2010) and the 2013 European Championship. We look forward to having you, your family and your friends join us for this inaugural regatta!
A Paradise for Rowing Practice and Competition
The host location for the 7th Sevilla International Rowing Masters Regatta is The Specialised Center for High Performance – La Cartuja. During the winter season La Cartuja is the training home to numerous international rowing federations, to name a few Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Hungary, Poland and Spain. These teams migrate to La Cartuja and 1000’s of Spanish rowers compete here throughout the year to enjoy the direct access to the river, mild climate and proximity to the millennial city of Sevilla.
